Alan Neely
Cofounder and CEO
Alan Neely is an experienced entrepreneur with a broad background in technology. He worked in the technology practice of Andersen Consulting for 8 years, and then in numerous financial industry startups. In 1997, he founded InvoiceLink Corporation, a highly successful, venture capital-backed startup that pioneered electronic billing and payment. InvoiceLink was acquired in 2000, and its technology served customers such as Microsoft, Visa, Pepsi, Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase. Alan is the author of seven technology patents, including some that generate significant royalties for their current owners.

Jim Buttonow is a 19-year IRS veteran and a CPA (NC license 25093). He is the chief architect of Beyond415. Since leaving the IRS, Jim has represented hundreds of taxpayers before the IRS and has been an outspoken proponent of making the IRS more transparent. Reed Humphrey has an impressive history of sales and marketing leadership in companies such as BCE Emergis and ADP. He has cofounded or led marketing at four start-ups, including a tax services firm that grew revenues by 100-fold under his direction. Reed holds a master's degree in broadcast communications from the University of Tennessee. Reed gave up his own successful marketing firm to help New River Innovation redefine an industry.

Bryan Howell leads New River Innovation's software development and infrastructure deployment. Bryan has more than 16 years of information technology experience and has been recognized for technical domain leadership at GMAC Insurance, BCE Emergis and Cisco. Bryan holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, is PMP certified and is a champion of agile development methodologies and high-security processing.
